In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
بِسْمِbis'miIn (the) nameٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) God,ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِl-raḥmāniMost Gracious,ٱلرَّحِيمِl-raḥīmiMost Merciful.
[94:1] Did we not cool your temper?
أَلَمْalamDid notنَشْرَحْnashraḥwe expandلَكَlakafor youصَدْرَكَṣadrakayour chest? ﴿١﴾
[94:2] And we unloaded your load (of sins).
وَوَضَعْنَاwawaḍaʿnāAnd we unloaded / relievedعَنكَʿankafrom youوِزْرَكَwiz'rakayour burden. ﴿٢﴾
[94:3] One that burdened your back.
ٱلَّذِىٓalladhīWhichأَنقَضَanqaḍaweighed upon / burdenedظَهْرَكَẓahrakayour back. ﴿٣﴾
[94:4] We exalted you to an honorable position.
وَرَفَعْنَاwarafaʿnāAnd we raised / exaltedلَكَlakafor youذِكْرَكَdhik'rakayour mention / honor and status. ﴿٤﴾
[94:5] With pain there is gain.
فَإِنَّfa-innaSo indeed,مَعَmaʿawithٱلْعُسْرِl-ʿus'rithe difficulty / hardship (pain)يُسْرًاyus'ran(is) ease / prosper / gains. ﴿٥﴾
[94:6] Indeed, with pain there is gain.
إِنَّinnaIndeed,مَعَmaʿawithٱلْعُسْرِl-ʿus'rithe difficulty / hardship (pain)يُسْرًاyus'ran(is) ease / prosper / gains. ﴿٦﴾
[94:7] Whenever possible you shall strive.
فَإِذَاfa-idhāSo whenفَرَغْتَfaraghtayou are free / available فَٱنصَبْfa-inṣabthen labor hard / strive. ﴿٧﴾
[94:8] Seeking only your Lord.
وَإِلَىٰwa-ilāAnd toرَبِّكَrabbikayour Lordفَٱرْغَبfa-ir'ghabso long for / desire / seek. ﴿٨﴾
